WARNING! This may be a long post since I haven't blogged in I don't know how long. Ughh...I am such a bad blogger! Anyway, this is a little bit of what we have been up to in the last SEVERAL months.

Mason's first ride at Disney World was a pretty fast kids roller coaster. He looked TERRIFIED through the entire ride so I was nervous he was going to start crying as soon as it stopped. But instead, he said in a low serious voice "let's do it again." That's my boy!!! He was able to ride so many fun rides since he is pretty tall. It was so fun for him but probably more fun for Jeremy and I to watch him!

I'm back - again!

So I know, I know, I'm a horrible blogger. But, here's our last beach pics (for this season anyway). It is a little cooler (like 60-70 degrees!) so the beach trips have slowed lately (sad for me!). It is my final attempt to tempt visitors!!!

Lesson Learned

I wanted to share with you all the latest trend -- yes, that is carrying your house key with you at ALL times. The short story goes like this... I went out one afternoon quickly to run a couple errands and didn't bring "the works" diaper bag. I only had bare essentials, and really not even that. I had even done the once monthly entire diaper bag clean out earlier that day because my diaper bag had accumulated so much stuff I could hardly manage it anymore. Anyway, I came home to find that the power was out which then meant my garage door opener wasn't going to work. The first problem was that I didn't have my house key with me! The second, and most important, problem was that Jeremy was out of town for the next couple of days! Aghhh! I decided to go to a friend's house (with power) to hang for a while in the hopes that the power would be restored soon. At 9:30pm the power was still not on and my kids were crazy tired so we decided to hunker down for the night. The only other problem was that I didn't have enough diapers, wipes, clothes, or even a bottle with me. I ran to another friend's house to get these supplies and came back to settle in for some good old 'Pride and Prejudice'. That movie can really turn a day around, can't it?! The power was restored sometime in the middle of the night and all was well in the end, but I have learned a very important lesson -- always carry your house key with you!!!

Hurricanes, Shmurricanes!

So we have dodged yet another hurricane. Only two more months left of hurricane season. We are still loving Florida and are already scoping out our retirement here in 20 years. Ha! What a sad day it will be when we have to leave! Anyway, here are some pics of what we have been up to lately. I promise all of our posts won't include beach pictures, but that's what we have been doing a lot lately. It's really all just a ploy to try to get all of you to come visit!!!!!!!

I'm Back!

I know, it has been a very, very long time since my last blog. Would you want to blog if you could go to the beach instead? Ha - just kidding. So we are officially all settled in Florida. All the boxes are gone and all the pictures are up. We are ABSOLUTELY loving it here!!! We are such beach bums at heart so this place is perfect for us.

Missing Jeremy!

Man are we missing our dad (husband)! The 1st of August can't come fast enough. We can't wait to see him! But, we are making the best of our time apart by spending lots of time with family and friends. I wanted to post some pictures of what we have been up to, but I am having technical difficulties to say the least! I'll try again soon...stay tuned!
